MALAGA (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – An unprecedented doubles dragged Italy into the semifinals in Malaga. A resounding pair, the one formed by Matteo Berrettini and Jannik Sinner, beat Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni in two sets, 6-4 7-5, in the decisive doubles match between Italy and Argentina in the Davis Cup quarterfinal underway on the fast-paced “Palacio de Deportes Jose Maria Martin Carpena” in Malaga. Italy beats, thus, Argentina 2-1 and advances to the semifinals where it will face Australia.
