ROME (ITALPRESS) – Lazio knocks out Bologna 3-0 in the match at the Stadio Olimpico and clinches its seventh consecutive victory: goals, all in the second half, by Samuel Gigot, Mattia Zaccagni and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, decide the game. The hosts immediately tried to make themselves dangerous with a conclusion by Vecino, which, however, did not frame the goal mirror. On 13′ Castellanos took advantage of a mistake by Lucumì, saw Ravaglia out of the way and tried to surprise him from long distance, but the ball went off the bottom. After a long moment of suffering, Vincenzo Italiano’s men responded on 19′ with a shot by Orsolini, which did not trouble Provedel. On the half-hour Lazio carved out a great chance with Guendouzi, who, set up by Castellanos, flew towards the opponent’s goal: the midfielder stumbled over the ball and was recovered by Beukema. At 35′ comes the first crucial episode of the match with the expulsion of Tommaso Pobega, who commits a naivety on Guendouzi and gets his second yellow in a few minutes. Just before halftime Orsolini makes a decisive save anticipating Luca Pellegrini, ready to push the ball into the back of the net: we go to rest on the 0-0 scoreline. In the opening of the second half there is a Var check for a possible hand touch by Moro in the red and blue penalty area, which in the end is not detected. In 56′ Castellanos, on an assist from Vecino, attempted a header and grazed the post. Marco Baroni’s team continued to push and at 65′ scored with newcomer Boulaye Dia, but his goal was disallowed for offside. The appointment with the advantage of the Capitolini, however, is only postponed as at 68′ Samuel Gigot unlocks the match: on the development of a corner, the defender anticipates Beukema and makes it 1-0. Not even time to metabolize the blow suffered by Bologna, Lazio doubled the score four minutes later with Mattia Zaccagni: Pellegrini’s percussion that unloaded for the captain, who went to the middle and put the ball into the corner. In the recovery, the biancoceleste formation, after a contact in the box between Isaksen and Ravaglia, closed the score definitively on 3-0 with Fisayo Dele-Bashiru. By virtue of this result, Lazio rises to 28 points and is second along with Fiorentina, Inter and Atalanta, while Bologna remains eighth at 18. – photo Ipa Agency -(ITALPRESS).
