MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The American Chamber of Commerce in Italy is organizing the 18th edition of its traditional “Transatlantic Award Gala Dinner,” to be held on Monday, Dec. 2, in Milan, at the East End Studios, starting at 6:30 p.m.Doing the honors for the approximately 800 people belonging to the Italian and American business community will be AmCham Italy President Stefano Lucchini and AmCham Italy CEO Simone Crolla.The event will open with greetings from the Minister for Institutional Reforms and Regulatory Simplification, Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, and will continue with speeches by the Ambassador of Italy to the United States of America, Mariangela Zappia, and Jack Markell, Ambassador of the United States of America to Italy.During the evening, as per tradition, awards will be given to U.S. and Italian companies that have made important investments on the transatlantic axis. “Despite the particular years we are living, the result we are reaching for our 18th Transatlantic Award Gala Dinner is of great relevance,” said Simone Crolla, Managing Director of AmCham Italy, “a sign of the trust of our companies towards AmCham Italy and of the importance that the Italy-United States relationship has in the current context, today more than ever. The membership base that has now reached 619 realities, the 15 committees active in our advocacy activities, the more than 60 events organized throughout the year, and more than 700 participants expected at each edition of the Gala Dinner, are proof that AmCham is now recognized as a leading reference both in the promotion of transatlantic relations and as a support in the internationalization process towards the United States, demonstrating the centrality of this relationship, capable of withstanding any turbulence.
