New Lancia Ypsilon roadshow makes a stop in Rome

ROME (ITALPRESS) – After the warm welcome it received in Turin and Milan, last weekend the evocative roadshow of the New Lancia Ypsilon touched down in the city of Rome. The elegant fleet – composed of ten examples, in hybrid and electric configuration – passed through some of the most iconic places of the Urbe: from the Circus Maximus to the Colosseum, from the Spanish Steps to the Trevi Fountain, and on to Piazza Navona. Moreover, reaching the top of the Janiculum and Aventine Hill, some of the most beautiful views of the city were admired from the New Ypsilon’s bright and spacious cockpit. Likewise, the exceptional driving dynamics enhanced the drive on the cobblestone streets of Trastevere, a neighborhood with a unique atmosphere, under the admiring gaze of residents and tourists alike. The tour then continued among the other famous Roman hills, located on the right bank of the Tiber and placed around the Forum, the political heart of ancient Rome. Thus, among gentle climbs and evocative views, the ten cars highlighted the unparalleled handling, efficiency and performance qualities of the new model, an elegant car that emerges in the urban context for its ease of driving and agility, but also very enjoyable among the curves of the hills. “After Turin and Milan, the Rome stop was also a huge success, confirming that the New Ypsilon has now entered the hearts of Italians. It is a source of pride for us who dreamed it up, developed it and built it, always keeping faith with our historical identity, which is rooted in 118 years of history. And the enthusiasm of the public encourages us to continue with our Renaissance, offering cars that combine style, innovation and sustainability. With this renewed energy, then, we are ready to go further, to create an even brighter future for the Lancia brand. And the best is yet to come!” said Luca Napolitano, CEO of the Lancia brand. Unmissable is the passage through the Prati district, known for its elegant buildings and stately atmosphere. The same refinement can be felt inside the New Ypsilon, which offers an authentic “living room” typical of Italian homes, always elegant and harmonious. That’s why traveling aboard the new model means entering a new dimension of well-being and comfort in the car. Among other things, it is the first Stellantis production car equipped with the S.A.L.A. system, the virtual and intelligent interface that ensures a comfortable and consistent driving experience with Lancia’s effortless technology. The roadshow also touched on EUR, with its monumental architecture and wide green spaces, representing the perfect fusion of innovation and tradition, history and sustainability. The same peculiarities of the New Ypsilon, which is at the top of the segment for versatility, efficiency and environmental friendliness. In particular, the hybrid version is powered by a latest-generation hybrid engine, with 1.2 L displacement of 100 hp (74 Kw), 48V 3-cylinder technology, combined with a 6-speed e-DCT automatic transmission and fuel-efficient maneuvering systems. All of this ensures maximum efficiency and reliability, as well as a very smooth driving experience and, under certain conditions, even electric mobility.Lancia invites everyone to visit one of the 160 Lancia dealerships in Italy, namely the exclusive showrooms featuring the brand’s new corporate identity, where it is possible to enjoy a premium customer experience and take exciting road test drives, sampling the unparalleled handling, efficiency and performance qualities of the new Lancia model. Not to mention that visiting Lancia dealerships makes it possible both to learn about the entire range of the new car – declined in the Ypsilon, LX and Cassina trims, all available in electric or hybrid configurations – and to discover the unmissable financial offer that proposes the hybrid version with a monthly installment of 200 euros for 45 months, while for the electric version the fee is 200 euros for 33 months.
