Lamborghini unveils Miami-inspired version of Urus SE

MIAMI (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – At a private event in Miami Beach, Automobili Lamborghini unveiled a special Urus SE 1 Ad Personam inspired by the vibrant and colorful culture of Miami. The design of this sporty Urus SE, was created through the artistic vision of the Lamborghini Style Center and the direction of the Ad Personam customization team. The Urus SE, unveiled earlier this year in Beijing, is the first PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle) version of Lamborghini’s record-selling super SUV to boast an 800-hp hybrid powertrain. The Miami-inspired details of the Urus SE, which took an extra 230 hours between painting and testing compared to the normal industrial process, are a testament to the almost infinite range of customization options customers have to enhance the extraordinary character of their car through the Ad Personam program.”With this true work of art, we created the most sophisticated livery ever seen on the Urus, inspiring our customers with graphics that enhance the exceptional proportions and iconic design of this model. We recreated the perfect vision to express Miami’s culture and vibrancy, as well as its uniqueness,” emphasizes Mitja Borkert, Design Director of Automobili Lamborghini. The exterior of this Urus SE is designed with Blu Glauco accents contrasted with a combination of gray and black for a livery that pays homage to the city’s mix of culture, style and artistic tendency. The front splitter in Nero Noctis is adorned with Blu Glauco detail, and the two-tone mirror caps in Telesto Gray display an elegant Blu Glauco line, the same shade taken up for the Nero Noctis rear diffuser color accents. The Urus SE’s luxurious interior is upholstered in unicolor leather and houses dedicated door knockers and a commemorative dashboard that features the words “MIAMI” on glossy carbon fiber.Present at the exclusive presentation were Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Federico Foschini, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, Mitja Borkert, Design Director, Rouven Mohr, Chief Technical Officer, and Andrea Baldi, Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini America.”We are always delighted to bring true innovation and art to Miami, especially at this time when the city is populated with creatives, designers and artists to draw inspiration from,” Winkelmann emphasized. “The demand for Lamborghini cars has peaked and I am very proud of this special Urus SE that shows the endless possibilities of customization in our Ad Personam program.Guests attending the event also had the chance to admire the new Lamborghini Temerario 2 equipped with a twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain that redefines performance, driving pleasure and comfort. Heir to the legendary Huracán, the Temerario has a total power output of 920 hp and can achieve 0-60 mph (0-62 mph) acceleration in just 2.7 seconds. “The Miami event,” the note concludes, “falls at a particularly auspicious time just moments after Automobili Lamborghini announced its record sales for the first three quarters of 2024, following the introduction of three new cars in just 18 months. Worldwide deliveries were up 8.6 percent (8,411 units) in 2024, compared to the same nine-month period in 2023. The Lamborghini model range has thus reached the milestone of full hybridization, laying a solid foundation for the brand’s future. Automobili Lamborghini is committed to pursuing positive projections for 2025, capitalizing on the momentum achieved in 2024. This vision is fueled by the company’s goals and supported by ongoing investments aimed at improving products and ensuring continuous progress.”
