MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Kia EV3 has been honored as the best Compact SUV at the prestigious Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY) Awards, 2025 edition. The jury of 82 women journalists from 55 countries around the world placed Kia EV3 on the top step of the podium for its safety features, quality, price, design, ease of driving, performance and environmental impact, preferring it over eleven other competing vehicles in the compact SUV category. Kia EV3, designed to offer electric mobility to a growing segment of users, stood out for its outstanding driving qualities, technology, comfort and value for money. EV3 stands out for its segment-leading range, capable of offering up to 605 km (WLTP) and is equipped with 400 V fast-charging technology, which enables charging from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 29 minutes. It also gains up to 202 km of range in just 15 minutes, making EV3 one of the most efficient electric vehicles in its class. True to the “Opposites United” design philosophy, EV3 combines modernity and nature in order to decline a striking and, at the same time, harmonious exterior and interior design. The 2.68-meter wheelbase and 4.30-meter length allowed for a spacious and revolutionary interior on par with a living room at home. EV3 boasts a trunk with a capacity of 460 liters and a two-level flexible shelf, plus a convenient 25-liter frunk compartment. The recognition won by the Kia EV3 at the WWCOTY Awards 2025 is concrete evidence of Kia’s commitment to making vehicles that can meet a wide variety of expectations and preferences. It also highlights the EV3’s global appeal and its affinity with women around the world.Kia EV3 now rightfully enters the final round to compete for the overall WWCOTY Award title, along with the five other cars that have established themselves in different categories, including 4×4 and Pick-Up, Large SUV, Large Car, Performance And Luxury Cars and Urban Model. The WWCOTY Supreme Winner, an award that was won by Kia EV9 last year, will be announced on March 6, two days before International Women’s Day.
