TURIN (ITALPRESS) – Alessio Scutari is the new Fiat and Abarth Managing Director in Italy within the Stellantis Italia organization, whose Country Manager Antonella Bruno is in charge. Alessio Scutari, 46, from Lucania, Italy, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from La Sapienza University and has extensive experience in the automotive sector, nationally, in Europe and globally. Among the main roles he held prior to his current position, Alessio has gained expertise in Marketing, Sales and After Sales starting with the Opel brand, and then continuing as Marketing Director Citroèn Italy, Head of Brand Experience Alfa Romeo Global and Peugeot Managing Director in Italy. Scutari will be responsible for accompanying FIAT in its strategic plan – announced last July 11 on the occasion of the brand’s 125th anniversary celebrations – that will lead to confirm its leading market position in Italy and will see the complete renewal of the product range in the coming years. The new range, available in hybrid or 100 percent electric versions, will include one launch each year over the next three years, starting with the upcoming launch of Grande Panda available in hybrid and 100 percent electric versions to be followed by the end of 2025 by the new hybrid version of the iconic 500 produced in the historic Mirafiori plant. “I feel the responsibility of representing FIAT and Abarth in Italy and the challenge of consolidating the leading position of the Italian market as well as accompanying the brand towards an increasingly sustainable mobility. To achieve commercial results and meet customer expectations, I want to strengthen the collaboration with the dealer network and the team of Fiat and Stellantis employees in Italy,” says Alessio Scutari. Scutari takes over from Giuseppe Galassi who goes to the role of head of Marketing Communications reporting directly to Olivier Francois – CEO of Fiat & Abarth and Global Chief Marketing Officer of Stellantis.
