Mazda CX-80 “Best in Class” among large SUVs according to Euro NCAP

ROME (ITALPRESS) – The new Mazda CX-80 has been proclaimed “Best in Class” large SUV by Euro NCAP in its latest series of tests. This prestigious award underscores the Japanese brand’s commitment to safety and innovation. In 2024, Euro NCAP tested a total of 44 cars, including the Mazda CX-80, which emerged as the best in class large SUV ahead of the Audi Q6 e-tron. This recognition reaffirms Mazda’s commitment and dedication to ensuring the highest level of safety for its customers. The Mazda CX-80 achieved an outstanding 92 percent rating in adult occupant safety, scoring full marks in side and rear impact tests. It recorded an impressive 88% in child safety, providing the highest level of protection. It also scored 84 percent in vulnerable road user safety, highlighting the brand’s focus on the safety of pedestrians and cyclists. Finally, it scored 79 percent in safety assistance systems, demonstrating Mazda’s commitment to equipping its vehicles with the most advanced protection technologies.
