Mazda6e, the 100% electric sedan, debuts in Brussels.

BRUSSELS (BELGIUM) (ITALPRESS) – Debut at the Brussels Motor Show for the all-new Mazda6e. The fast-charging 5-door sedan is the latest all-electric addition to Mazda’s lineup and offers two powertrain options to suit different driving preferences. Equipped with a 68.8 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 479 km. With a 200 kW DC charge, it recharges from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 22 minutes and can add 235 km of range in 15 minutes. The electric motor delivers 190 kW (258 hp). For those who prefer uninterrupted long-distance driving, the Mazda6e Long Range’s 80 kWh battery allows a range of up to 552 km and its electric motor delivers 180 kW (245 hp). Both configurations deliver 320 Nm of torque, ensure smooth acceleration and brilliant performance with a dynamic and enjoyable ride thanks to rear-wheel drive, with a 0-60 mph sprint in less than 8 seconds and a top speed of 175 km/h.The Mazda6e introduces the new evolution of Mazda’s design philosophy, “Kodo: Soul of Motion.” Its smooth, flowing lines and bold character give the car a strong yet refined presence. The low roofline and short-tailed coupe silhouette offer a sporty look while maintaining the functionality of a 5-door hatchback sedan. The car’s distinctive styling details include an eye-catching light signature, frameless doors and integrated door handles, giving a modern, seamless look along the side. At the rear, the iconic four-cylinder light design and electric spoiler add a dynamic touch. The interior is inspired by the Japanese concept of “ma,” which emphasizes simplicity and space between elements. Front and rear passengers enjoy ample legroom, and the panoramic roof lets in natural light. Fine materials create a cozy and pleasant atmosphere, while the floating instrument panel enhances the feeling of lightness. The Mazda6e is available in two trims. The Takumi trim features an eco-leather interior in warm beige or black, while the Takumi Plus offers suede and a premium sand-colored Nappa leather, and adds an electrically opening sunroof shade to the panoramic roof. The exterior and interior design elements together create a harmonious fusion of style, comfort and functionality. The cabin is designed to put the driver in a position to receive all information and reach controls as intuitively and naturally as possible. Information is divided among three ideally placed screens. A customizable 14.6-inch touchscreen stands out in the center of the dashboard while the instrument cluster is 10.2-inch digital. Completing the information available to the driver is a 50-inch augmented reality Head-Up Display that projects key information, such as navigation and speed, directly into the driver’s line of sight. Advanced voice and gesture controls simplify interactions with functions such as climate control, navigation and multimedia systems. Passengers can enjoy high-quality audio from the 14-speaker SonyPRO system.Safety is a priority in the Mazda6e. Nine airbags protect occupants, while Mazda’s advanced driver assistance system with autonomous emergency braking (AEB), lane departure warning, road sign recognition and many other features help drivers avoid potential hazards. The new Rear Seat Occupancy Monitoring System uses an interior camera to detect the presence of children and project them onto the center display. When leaving the car, an audible warning ensures that young children are not accidentally left inside the vehicle. A fusion of refined design and cutting-edge technology, the new Mazda6e will arrive in Italian dealer showrooms in the summer of 2025.
