ROME (ITALPRESS) – Rfi reports that, in 2024 alone, it has invested more than 10 billion in technological and infrastructure works on the railway network. This – it stresses in a note – is a massive investment, never recorded before. More than 30 percent of the investments are closely related to maintenance works on the network. Among the many activities, more than 1,000 km of tracks have been renewed and more than 1,000 switches, already in operation on the network, have been totally replaced.More than 300 km of the power grid have been upgraded, nine electrical substations and 52 peripheral posts for the operational management of power lines.
