Cecilia Sala “Hooded and interrogated for 10 hours”

ROME (ITALPRESS) – “The interrogations took place every day, for 15 days, hooded. The last interrogation, the day before my release, announced at 9 a.m. on Jan. 8, had lasted 10 hours.” Cecilia Sala, detained in Iran for 21 days, told “Che Tempo Che Fa.” “I was very lucky to be in there
only 21 days,” she added, “The recovery is faster than many other people have been there hundreds of days. “I had asked for the Quran in English,” she adds, “because I thought it was a book that in a maximum security prison in Iran I could not be denied but I was denied. I spent the time counting my fingers, reading the ingredients on the envelopes.”
