Salvation points for Como, overwhelms Udinese 4-1

COMO (ITALPRESS) – Fabregas’ Como confirmed the growth of recent weeks and redeemed the recent knockout against AC Milan. At Sinigaglia, the Larians put on a show and returned to victory, beating Runjaic’s Udinese 4-1 thanks to goals in the rain by Diao, Strefezza, Paz and Bijol’s own goal. Payero’s goal for the Bianconeri was of little use. As many as two red cards were drawn by referee Cosso, author of a direction that was far from impeccable: in fact, Goldaniga and Solet did not finish the match. Although still showing some lapses in concentration, Como deservedly obtained the three points against an inaccurate Udinese without ideas. Despite the field made heavy by the rain, Como immediately took the reins of the game, finding the goal early on. After just five minutes, in fact, Strefezza finishes a beautiful choral action by serving the assist for Diao: the former Betis player kicks powerfully under the crossbar and signs the 1-0, confirming his devastating impact with our championship (already scored in the week against Milan). Diao again came close to a double header on 17′ while shortly before already Caqueret had engaged Sava with an insidious shot on the turn. Udinese, on the other hand, did very little and never managed to trigger their forwards. At the end of the fraction then Como made it 2-0, thanks to Strefezza’s volley from the limit. The match seems to be filed in favor of the Larians, but Udinese doesn’t mind and takes the field for the restart wanting to redeem the very bad first half. Runjaic immediately inserted Zemura and Lucca and the guests shortened the distance, scoring with Payero at 50′. The next few minutes saw two expulsions for double penalties that left both teams with ten men. At 57′ it was Goldaniga’s turn, who was probably kicked out unfairly: from the replay it is clear how the Italian retracts his leg in his intervention on Payero. There is also some doubt about Solet’s second yellow at 63′ for a foul on Cutrone in midfield. The fact remains that Udinese did not take advantage of the momentary numerical superiority and the match settled on the tracks of balance. It took Bijol’s unlucky own-goal at 78′ to close the match definitively. In the recovery Paz fixed the result at 4-1 final.
