TURIN (ITALPRESS) – For Fiat, 2024 was a significant year. Among its 125th anniversary celebrations, the brand consolidated its position as Stellantis number one global brand, leading in its 4 domestic markets (Brazil, Italy, Turkey, Algeria), on 3 continents, and with a different model in each country: Strada, Panda, Egea and Doblò. In addition, as previously announced in the first half of 2024, FIAT also ended the year excelling in South America. In Europe, the brand confirmed its leadership in electric A-segments with the Fiat 500e; A-segments with the Fiat Pandina; and in light commercial vehicles, thanks to the performance of the Doblò, Fiorino and Ducato, Stellantis’ best-selling Large Van. “FIAT in 2024 turned 125 years old, a significant milestone that very few brands can boast, and ended the year with a positive performance globally. We confirmed our position as the number one brand in Stellantis, with more than 1.2 million vehicles sold worldwide, balancing the transition phase we are experiencing in the European market with the excellent performance in South America-this is the advantage of being a truly global brand. In South America FIAT is the market leader, and in Brazil the brand had a new record year, capturing more than 20 percent market share. This means that one in five cars sold in Brazil is a FIAT,” commented Olivier Francois, CEO of FIAT and global CMO of Stellantis. “In Europe, FIAT confirmed its leadership in the electric A segment with the 500e and in the overall A segment with the Pandina. Also, among commercial vehicles, the Ducato was confirmed as Stellantis’ best-selling Large Van. We are now focusing on 2025, which will be a crucial year for FIAT in Europe, starting with the launch of the new Grande Panda, in both electric and hybrid versions, and the new 500 Hybrid coming later this year. We face the future with great optimism,” Francois concludes.
