Milan in sprint, Parma remounted and beaten 3-2 at San Siro

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – A photo-finish victory for Sergio Conceiçao’s AC Milan, who beat Parma 3-2 by coming back from a comeback in the crazy San Siro. Race opened by Parma’s lead through Cancellieri, Pulisic’s equalizer on a penalty kick and Delprato’s goal with ten to go in the 90′, with Reijnders first and Chukwueze then sealing the ninth league win for Maignan and his teammates. Milan consistently present in Parma’s half of the field, who in the first part of the match went a lot on the restart and less on ball management. However, without any resounding Rossoneri chances under goal, it was Pecchia’s team that found the 0-1, on the offensive transition that Cancellieri closed with a left-footed shot from the edge of the area that left Maignan no chance. Milan’s reaction soon arrived, at 29′, on Fofana’s touch for the goal sealed by Morata, but all with an offside position of the Spaniard later signaled by the assistant. It thus remains at 0-1, but Milan’s equalizer is only postponed at 38′, when Pulisic appears on the penalty spot following Suzuki’s penalty shove against Pavlovic. The American had no problem materializing from the eleven meters and bringing the Rossoneri back into the game, with Conceiçao deciding on substitutions for Theo Hernandez and Leao at halftime, thus sending a message to his men. Parma well put on the field to limit the Milanese initiatives, lacking intensity and with a decreasing pace despite the four substitutions made at the dawn of the 57′. Parma that despite the Rossoneri pressure, however, did not totally lower its center of gravity, a strategy that paid off duly in the 80′ minute, with the newly entered Camara that caught in front of Maignan found the French goalkeeper’s rebound but it was on the rebound that Delprato pushed into the net the 2-1. Last assaults for the Milan formation, which would find the goal with Pavlovic, cancelled for offside of the same, but it is then, in the six minutes of recovery, that it manages to seal the two goals of the comeback: Reijnders at 92′ on Musah’s filter, and three minutes later Chukwueze, in tap-in on the last corner of the match. 3-2 and the final whistle that sends the Rossoneri success into the archives a week before the derby against Inter Milan. – Photo Ipa Agency -(ITALPRESS).
