Blue double in Garmisch, Brignone beats Goggia by one hundredth

GARMISCH (GERMANY) (ITALPRESS) – Federica Brignone won the women’s downhill in Garmisch, valid for the women’s alpine skiing world cup. The Italian finished in 1’35″83, beating the other Italian Sofia Goggia by one hundredth (1’35″84). Third was Swiss Corinne Suter (1’36″02), fifth Lara Gut-Behrami (1’36″20). For Brignone this is the 32nd personal best in the World Cup.
