VICENZA (ITALPRESS) – The fifth edition of Rally Racing Meeting, the largest annual fair dedicated to the world of motor racing and organized by two-time world rally champion Miki Biasion, concluded yesterday. Amazing turnout with more than 10 thousand visitors who, over the past weekend, enlivened the exciting event hosted at the Fiera di Vicenza, demonstrating how strong is the link between the general public and Motorsport. The absolute protagonist was the Lancia brand with its most recent creations – Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, 280-hp Ypsilon HF and Ypsilon LX – and a never-before-seen exhibition of all the Lancia models that, from 1920 onward, have participated in sports competitions. These included no less than four iconic cars from Stellantis Heritage’s precious collection: the Lancia Stratos HF “Alitalia” (1974) Lancia D50 F.1 (1954), Lancia D25 (1954) and Lancia ECV2 (1988). But all the spotlight was on the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, which marks Lancia’s return to the world of rallying and is equipped with a 212-horsepower 1.2 Turbo engine, five-speed SADEV gearbox, Ohilns adjustable suspension, and Sparco-branded seats, belts and steering wheels. At the booth, the public was not only able to admire this extraordinary race car, which has already garnered more than 80 pre-orders at the European level, but also to learn about the unprecedented Lancia Trophy, which will make its debut in the Italian Absolute Rally Championship (CIAR) with six races spread over five events.
Divided into three categories – Junior (Under 25), Master (25-35 years) and Expert (Over 35) – the Lancia Trophy puts up a prize pool worth a total of 360,000 euros with the possibility for the Champion to join the official Lancia team in the European Rally Championship (ERC) 2026, captained by Director Eugenio Franzetti. To strengthen the link between the racing world and the Lancia brand, the new “Sparco-Lancia HF” clothing collection was officially presented during the Rally Racing Meeting, born from the collaboration between two brands that have written unforgettable pages in the history of motorsport. A true tribute to Lancia’s sporting heritage, which takes on new life through a line of sportswear designed for drivers, enthusiasts and style lovers. In addition to the lifestyle collection, Sparco will also provide technical fireproof clothing for all drivers entered in the Lancia 2025 Trophy, with a custom line in the new Lancia Corse HF colors, developed in collaboration with the Lancia Style Center. A perfect mix of tradition and innovation that celebrates the brand’s return to rallying with the right racing spirit.
“It’s amazing how our race cars, past and present, make the hearts of the many fans who still remember the legendary exploits of Lancia drivers who wrote some of the finest pages of world motorsport. I am sure that the new Lancia Trophy will deliver us a young talent that we will follow closely in the coming years. I wish him an outstanding career like that of Miki Biasion, whose name is forever engraved in the secular history of Lancia,” said Luca Napolitano, CEO of Lancia.
“I am really happy with the success recorded by this fifth edition of the Rally Racing Meeting, a sign that the format is liked and that there is still a lot of enthusiasm around motosport. What struck me most was the large presence of young people, confirming that the roar of engines and adrenaline-pumping competitions still have their appeal. I also told the young people I saw on the Lancia stand to come forward, opportunities like this don’t come along every day,” Miki Biasion concluded.
