SAALBACH (AUSTRIA) (ITALPRESS) – Gold medal to Team USA 1 in the historic first women’s combined team event of the Alpine Skiing World Championships, staged in Saalbach, Austria. Triumphing after the downhill and special slalom events were Mikaela Shiffrin (in her eighth rainbow gold) and Breezy Johnson (in her second rainbow medal in a row, after her downhill success). Silver medal for Switzerland 1’s Lara Gut-Behrami and Wendy Holdener, who were 39 hundredths behind the Americans.
