SOFIA (ITALPRESS) – The Ambassador of Italy in Sofia, Giuseppina Zarra, met for a farewell greeting with Bulgarian Defense Minister Atanas Zapryanov to review aspects of the bilateral agenda in the field of defense and security. The meeting was also attended by the Chief of Defense Staff, Emil Eftimov.At the beginning of the meeting, the bonds of friendship were reaffirmed and the excellent cooperative relations between the two countries that are continuously being intensified, especially in the field of joint military exercises and training activities and exchange of experience were emphasized. In particular, Minister Zapryanov expressed satisfaction with the outstanding contribution of the Republic of Italy as the Framework Nation of the NATO Multinational Battle Group in Bulgari, also thanking the Ambassador for her efforts.
