Volvo Trucks at Bauma trade show aims to decarbonize transportation in the construction industry

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Volvo Trucks is coming to the Bauma 2025 trade show to demonstrate its determination to decarbonize transportation in the construction industry. Volvo will present its wide range of products and technologies that enable more sustainable transportation, today and tomorrow. At the Bauma show, Volvo will exhibit trucks with battery electric powertrains, hydrogen fuel cells, and renewable fuels such as biogas in combustion engines. These technologies form the company’s three-way strategy to achieve net zero emissions by 2040 and enable the construction industry to achieve more sustainable transportation now.
Volvo is the world leader in the battery electric truck segment with a 51 percent market share in Europe, 40 percent in North America, and deliveries of more than 4,900 electric vehicles worldwide, many of them to customers in the construction industry. Volvo has started mass production of electric trucks as early as 2019, and the company’s product portfolio enables the decarbonization of the entire construction transportation stream: transport vehicles, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, tippers, cranes, and dump trucks, to name a few. At Bauma, Volvo will display vehicles on both its own and customers’ booths.
