ROME (ITALPRESS) – A meeting of a group of European Union leaders with the U.K. government will be held in London on Sunday with a view to a common defense plan. This was announced by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk after a bilateral with European Council President Antonio Costa. Tusk said he was convinced that “the European Union will be truly united on the issue of Ukraine.”
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has reportedly given her willingness to attend the summit, but Italian sources stress, however, that the meeting has not yet been officially convened, and that interlocutions between the leaders are ongoing.
