USA, Stefano Albertini receives Italian Reputation Award

NEW YORK (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – The Italian Reputation Award has given a special mention to Professor Stefano Albertini, director of the Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò at New York University (NYU), “for his outstanding contribution to the promotion and enhancement of Italian culture in the United States.”
The award, which celebrates excellence in the field of Italian reputation and culture abroad, was given during a high-profile educational event held at the Scuola d’Italia “Guglielmo Marconi” in New York, where Albertini gave a lecture with young students from the Italian school, in the presence of award creator Davide Ippolito and Scuola d’Italia Dean Michael Cascianelli.
The Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò, under the leadership of Prof. Albertini, has over the years become a point of reference for the dissemination of Italian language and culture in New York and the United States.
Albertini has also distinguished himself for promoting dialogue between the School and the University, so that younger people can increasingly develop a greater awareness of the direction they should choose for their future, as he did on this occasion when meeting with students from the School of Italy. During his speech, he emphasized the importance of cooperation between Italian cultural institutions abroad and local schools to ensure an always lively and fruitful dialogue between the two cultures.
The Italian Reputation Award, now in its second edition, is confirmed as one of the most important awards to recognize the personalities and institutions that contribute to strengthening Italy’s reputation and presence in the world, paying tribute to the commitment to the enhancement of Italy.
