TURIN (ITALPRESS) – Alfa Romeo repeats its 2024 exploit by winning a triple victory in the “Best Cars” competitions in Germany and Switzerland. Readers of the German automotive magazine “auto motor und sport” crowned Alfa Romeo Giulia the winner of the “Midsize Import” category for the eighth time. Alfa Romeo Tonale outclassed the competition by establishing itself as the best import vehicle in the “Compact SUV/Off-road” category. At the same time, Alfa Romeo Stelvio was awarded as the best import model in the category “Large SUVs/Off-road vehicles”.The “Best Cars” competition, organized by the Stuttgart-based trade magazine “auto motor und sport,” was in its 49th edition. More than 94,000 readers participated in the initiative, indicating their favorite cars from a record audience of as many as 462 candidates divided into 13 categories, with ad hoc rankings for import brands. The official awards ceremony will take place on May 9, 2025, at the traditional anniversary celebration of the founding of the Port of Hamburg.In Switzerland, Alfa Romeo is recognized as the best brand in terms of style by readers of Auto Illustrierte magazine. In addition, for the eighth time in a row, the Alfa Romeo Giulia was confirmed as first place in the medium-sized category within the “Best Cars” competition. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio took first place in the “SUV/off-road” category for the seventh time, while the Junior won the title in the “Small SUV/Crossover” category in its first year already. A total of 462 models in 13 categories participated in the 31st “Best Cars” competition. The results of the “Best Cars” competitions once again testify to the extraordinary appeal of Alfa Romeo’s innovative technology and Italian style to German and Swiss car enthusiasts.
