MILAN (ITALPRESS) – “The IPO represented for Comtel not only an important milestone reached thanks to the work of everyone, but above all the starting point for the realization of the ambitious industrial plan that the company deliberated a few months ago and that sees strong growth both by internal lines and through strategic M&A operations. “This was said by Fabio Lazzerini, managing director of Comtel, a company that has been involved in the integration of ICT systems in Italy for more than 30 years for the digital transformation of enterprises, with 8 offices throughout the country. “Within this framework is the recent acquisition of NovaNext, which will allow us to expand our business and offer new services to customers,” Lazzerini added. A few days after the IPO, in fact, Comtel netted the acquisition of 60 percent of NovaNext, a reality with 140 employees and 3 offices in Italy (Turin, Milan and Rome) that recorded sales and service revenues of about 37 mln euros for the 2024 financial year. A reality with more than 35 years of experience in the ICT sector that designs and implements advanced solutions in Enterprise Networking, Cyber Security, Internet of Things, Data Center & Cloud, and Digital Workplace.Comtel landed on the stock market last Feb. 19 with a free float of 10.98 percent, or 2,022,000 shares out of the total 18,422,000. “Ninety percent of the raising will be dedicated to these acquisition transactions. Ours is a proactive approach to M&A, to extend Comtel’s geographical or technological capabilities, not only in Italy, but also abroad,” Lazzerini concluded.
