We will do our best.” This was said by Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna during the presentation of the “Rossa” 2025 staged in front of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan. “Twenty-five years after the first year Michael Schumacher won the World Championship, we wanted to bring the cars here. We chose Milan because the warmth of this city for Ferrari is unique, it had been five years since we came here,” added the Maranello team executive.
On the same wavelength is team principal Frederic Vasseur: “There’s a positive energy, a good feeling for mechanics and drivers,” he added, “It’s great, we don’t get a chance to do these things in the city very often; I like these kinds of events. On Sunday, March 16, the Formula 1 World Championship will start in Melbourne, Australia. “The key factor to winning is consistency,” explained Vasseur. “Last year we did a good job, but not great. We know that at the beginning of the season there will be ups and downs. We will have to be good at managing the most difficult moments. We know it will be a challenge, every last year of the homologation of every rule is very complicated. There will be fluctuations like last year. The battle will be tight. We have a good team and have made improvements; however, we cannot guarantee that we will not make any mistakes.”
Ecstatic Charles Leclerc, ready for his seventh season in red: “You are really special, you always give great emotions. I grew up in Italy and have always had a special connection with this country. Growing up I was always a Ferrari fan and dreamed of being part of the team. Now I find myself living my dream, driving the Rossa and doing everything to make it world champion again. Great excitement also for seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton: “It’s great to be here, my first time in front of the ‘Rossa’ fans,” said the British driver, “There is nothing like the passion of the Ferrari fans: this is all new to me. I have been to Fiorano but this is the first time I am this close to them. This is my first performance with this car, being in Italy is really something special. . Also cheering on the ‘Rossa’ was Unicredit’s ceo Andrea Orcel: “Like all fans, I see the drivers very well. We expect great things from them, one victory after another. We have several things in common with Ferrari, starting with the red coloro rosso: both of us are always trying to improve. It makes me very happy to see all these fans here today.”
