Suzuki unveils GSX-8R Tuned by Juri, livery inspired by Street Fighter 6 video game

TURIN (ITALPRESS) – Suzuki will be present at the CAPCOM CUP 11 and “Street Fighter League: World Championship 2024” world championships with a special version of the GSX-8R in a livery dedicated to the famous video game “Street Fighter 6,” the GSX-8R Tuned by JURI. The collaboration comes just in time for the upcoming world tournaments in which Suzuki is a partner.

The “Street Fighter” video game series is well-loved and has sold more than 56 million copies worldwide. The latest installment, “Street Fighter 6,” has achieved widespread success by adopting a game system with simplified control, approaching an uncommon audience for the fighting game genre. The game modes offered by “Street Fighter 6” allow varo level players to compete in both competitive and amateur casual matches.

Suzuki has created the GSX-8R in special livery inspired by “Juri,” a character from Street Fighter 6 who is a motorcycle enthusiast. The “GSX-8R Tuned by JURI” will not be for sale but is a one-of-a-kind display only. The livery features colorful and aggressive graphics, echoing Juri’s distinctive spider motif; in addition, the Feng Shui Engine of Juri’s left eye is visible on the 8R’s engine. The logo is hand-drawn in street custom style.

The “GSX-8R Tuned by JURI” will be displayed in the Suzuki booth during the “CAPCOM CUP 11” world championships and the “Street Fighter League: World Championship 2024,” which will be held at the Ryogoku Kokugikan, the famous area dedicated to sumo, Japan’s national sport, from March 5 to 9. Thereafter, the motorcycle will be displayed in Suzuki’s booth during Japanese two-wheeler fairs to be held in three cities-Osaka, Tokyo, and Nagoya.
