ROME (ITALPRESS) – The Anci has published the ranking list of the Notice for the presentation of “Project proposals aimed at the assignment of public spaces/properties to young people under 35 and for the implementation of innovative projects,” based on resources from the Youth Policy Fund. There are 24 funded municipalities that will be able to launch projects to reactivate unused public spaces and properties through the assignment of the same to young people under 35. Innovative management initiatives will cover areas such as culture, environment, high social impact services, digital innovation and smart cities.
The Notice, availability of resources amounting to 7 million euros, registered an excellent response both in terms of participation and the quality of the project proposals received, which could be submitted by municipalities that are capitals of provinces and metropolitan cities and by municipalities that are not capitals and Unions of municipalities with a population of 50,000 or more. In fact, the merit list registers very high scores, an element that has led Anci to identify additional resources from the Fund for Youth Policies; this will make it possible to arrive, in a very short time, at a next sliding of the list, in order to expand the number of beneficiary territories.
“The results of the Notice on spaces to be allocated to young people constitutes further confirmation of Anci’s ability to meet the needs of the territories,” stresses Anci Vice President and Youth Policy Delegate Roberto Pella, “and pursues a broader strategy that aims at social inclusion of the youth population, including through their economic integration and in the world of work, supporting municipalities in creating income and employment opportunities for young people. Anci thanks the Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi,” Pella concludes, “who, with the technical support of the Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service, has confirmed over time the Association’s recognition as a privileged interlocutor in supporting youth policies that have a strong local impact, through the direct role of municipalities.
“This call for proposals promoted by ANCI also thanks to the support of the government,” says Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi, “enriches the range of opportunities available to municipalities, as part of the strategy of collaboration between the executive headed by Giorgia Meloni and local and regional authorities, for the benefit of the younger generation. The allocation of public spaces and properties to under 35s for the implementation of innovative projects, promoted through this initiative by Anci, is part of the portfolio of opportunities available to young people, which the government shares with regions, provinces and municipalities to create a solid link with the world of work, offering boys and girls a qualified training experience. This is also the goal of our Network Project,” adds Abodi, “which we are developing in seven hubs in Nuoro, Novara, Verona, L’Aquila, Salerno, Brindisi and Palermo, to which we will add those in Reggio Calabria, Potenza, Isernia, Terni and Ancona over the next 12 months.
