Zangrillo “Rearmament is not an alternative to the automotive industry”

TURIN (ITALPRESS) – “Those who use the argument of rearmament as an alternative to the automotive industry have not understood that we are talking about two things that have nothing to do with each other. We are working on the revitalization of the automotive industry with a close confrontation with its protagonists, because we want to understand from them how policy can help these sectors revitalize.” Thus Minister for Public Administration Paolo Zangrillo, on the sidelines of the conference “The Future of Automotive Passes from Here” that Forza Italia organized this morning at the National Museum of Automotive in Turin.

Automotive is a “key issue for the economy not only of our country, but of the entire continent. Automotive represents a significant part of the European GDP, it is a sector that is going through a phase of profound transformation, in a particularly complex geopolitical context. So we decided to dedicate a day to this theme, and we decided to do it by involving the main players who in the European and international context manage this sector,” he added: “Forza Italia decided to celebrate this conference in Turin because Turin and Piedmont were protagonists of Italy’s economic boom in the postwar period, they were protagonists of the country’s motorization, this is an area that has developed extraordinary skills over time that we cannot afford to lose.”
