The University continues to invest in internationalization, expanding opportunities for its students with 17 double degree agreements with prestigious foreign universities.

These agreements will enable students to earn a double degree, recognized both in Italy and abroad. In addition, for those who do not have the opportunity to spend time outside Italy, the University offers a wide range of international experiences, including English-language courses, Winter and Summer Schools, the Summer Business Program and the Mercuri Program.

The University of Bergamo is strengthening its commitment to ensuring student welfare and support. Highlights include: an increase in scholarships and degree awards funded by companies and institutions; dedicated tutoring for working students, students with disabilities or DSA, refugees, or students with other special needs; the enhancement of the psychological counseling service; the launch of the Proben project, in collaboration with the Bergamo Polytechnic of the Arts, to improve university well-being through targeted interventions on inclusion and services; and the introduction of a green menu in university cafeterias from April 1, 2025.

The educational offerings will be accompanied by the new communication campaign “Shape your future,” which emphasizes the centrality of students and the role of the university as a place for personal and professional growth. An Athenaeum that continues to record growing numbers: more than 4,700 enrolled in three-year and single-cycle degree programs for 2024/2025 and more than 1,700 enrolled in master’s degree programs.

The University also stands out for the high employability of its graduates: more than 90 percent of science graduates and about 85 percent of humanities graduates find jobs one year after graduation. In addition, 93 percent of students say they are satisfied with their course, a percentage higher than the national average. Rector, Sergio Cavalieri explained, “The University of Bergamo continues to grow and renew itself, with educational offerings that are increasingly attentive to the challenges of the future and the needs of the world of work. The new courses and curricula respond to a demand for emerging skills and strengthen the link with the territory and businesses. At the same time, we maintain our commitment to supporting students, promoting internationalization and focusing on university welfare, confirming UniBg as a dynamic and inclusive community.”
