ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Senate Chamber has approved the ddl of conversion into law, with modifications, of the law decree bringing urgent measures for the reform of state examination of the second cycle of education and for the regular start of the school year 2025/2026, incardinated with the report of President Marti. The measure passes to the examination of the Chamber.

“With the free way of the Senate, the innovations introduced in the Council of Ministers are confirmed with the reform of the examination of maturity. A reform that we strongly wanted to return seriousness, value and centrality to a decisive moment in the educational path of our students.” Thus the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara. “The state examination returns to be a maturing examination, with the aim of evaluating the overall growth of the student. For this reason we have reformed the oral test, that from next year all the maturers will have to regularly support in order to be promoted: who will voluntarily make silent scene will be rejected; On the other hand, we value the particularly worthy actions that denote commitment and sense of responsibility. “From next year all students will be able to choose the new technical and professional education paths to access the world of work first and better. In continuity with this vision, the text approved today provides for other concrete measures to strengthen and innovate the school system: new building security funds, resources for the purchase of didactic subsidies within the Agenda Sud project, extension of training paths to specialise a growing number of support teachers.
