ROMA (ITALPRESS) – It is called BRIDGeconomies and is the European project to which ENEA participates to provide for free to companies of Campania and Puglia assistance on access to EU funding and opportunities and integrated services that favor innovation and technology transfer.
The project has used a financing of approximately 1 million euros for the period 2022-2025 and will benefit from a further financing of approximately 900 thousand euros for the three-year period 2025-2028. BRIDGeconomies, which brings together 13 partners between chambers of commerce, business associations, development agencies, research centers and universities of the Mezzogiorno, is one of the six Italian consortia to offer services of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the largest worldwide network in support of small and medium-sized enterprises, established by the European Commission in 2008, today present with about 600 contact points in 57 countries.
“As ENEA we have created a database with 1270 EEN network customers who receive newsletters and are constantly updated on the opportunities offered. To date, companies that are supported in the process of innovation and growth at an international level are about 850, those that benefit from specialist advice from our 112 experts, while companies that receive specialized training and guidance courses are 525. Important numbers and ongoing growth”, explains the ENEA manager of the Oscar Amerighi project, the Knowledge transfer management division, which also collaborates with colleagues from the Energy and Sustainability departments. The services provided by the EEN network include: innovation support with analysis of each company’s management capabilities; assistance for technology transfer; development of partnerships through research; identification of partners to access European projects.
“With our services, around 80 companies have achieved important results in international partnership. In addition, as ENEA we have undersigned collaboration agreements with Confindustria, universities and other stakeholders present in the two regions and put into place various actions on the topic of sustainability, such as the realization of two tables of industrial symbiosis in Salerno and Taranto and the proposal of an assessment service of corporate sustainability and on the topic of digitization, also in collaboration with the European Digital Innovation Hub CETMA-DIHSME and I-NEST”, concludes Amerighi. ENEA has also promoted the theme of integrated energy networks, in view of the development of a small-scale smart grid demonstrator at the Center of Portici, in the province of Naples, funded under the Project Mission Innovation – POA Smart Grid, which will be available to companies to show the advantages regarding the optimization of consumption deriving from the adoption of intelligent technologies and renewable sources.
Among the various initiatives carried out by ENEA in the context of the project: events, such as Innovation Village and Open Day of research with one-to-one meetings between researchers and enterprises; B2B meetings between companies, incubators and investors, both public and private.
