NEW YORK (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – The US ambassador to the Glass Palace, Michael Waltz, convened the elected members (E10) of the United Nations Security Council – representatives of Algeria, Denmark, Greece, Guyana, Pakistan, Panama, Republic of Korea, Sierra Leone, Slovenia and Somalia to which he presented the resolution for the Gaza Strip. The U.S. diplomatic representation at the UN said that Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, “provided regional support for the resolution to the UN Security Council on Gaza.” The resolution welcomes the Peace Council and authorizes the International Stabilisation Force outlined in the Gaza peace plan at 20 points of President Trump, which provides for continuous humanitarian aid and the release of all hostages, opening the way to a more secure and prosperous Gaza.
In the note, the U.S. mission to the UN states that “under the bold leadership of President Trump, the United States will again provide results to the United Nations, not endless gossip. The parties have taken this historic opportunity to finally end decades of bloodshed and make the vision of the president of lasting peace in the Middle East a reality.”.
