MILAN (ITALPRESS) – “Today’s young people call for innovative and challenging work environments that can enhance their skills and reward merit. We have the duty to lead the new generations into a world of work that changes at great speed with new professional opportunities.” The Minister for Public Administration Paolo Zangrillo said this, speaking in Milan, at the event “Orienta Talenti”, where he debuts “GenPA – Unlock your potential”, the new format promoted by the Department of Public Function to bring new generations closer to public work.
The minister underlined how the Public Administration is returning to be attractive to young people: “With inPA, the unique portal of access to public competitions, we have innovated recruitment: more than 2.6 million members, of which more than half under 40, and procedures that close on average in about 180 days. The inPA app lets you know the bands and apply in a simple and digital way. It is proof that a modern public administration can compete with other organizations,” the minister stressed.
Zangrillo then recalled the new opportunities created to promote the entry of young people into the PA: “A recent survey of the Department of Public Function conducted by the Piepoli Institute shows that 66% of young people between 16-34 years take seriously this professional field. We have put in place concrete initiatives such as the possibility for administrations to take, through competition, the graduates of the ITS Academy, high-specialized figures that can contribute to the innovation of the public sector. With the programs Tirocini inPA and PhDs inPA, arrived at the second edition, we offer young concrete experiences that allow you to know from close to the Public Administration where we are introducing career systems capable of rewarding merit,” added Zangrillo.
During the event the minister participated with the young people in an interactive activity in the space “GenPA” designed to make the public working world known directly. The new format, promoted by the Department of Public Function, was born to tell an innovative, dynamic and open Public Administration to the future, able to value skills, creativity and talent
