MODENA (ITALPRESS) – Maserati writes a new chapter in its centenary history: the production of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio range – in all their versions – returns to the historic plant of Modena. Epitomi of Italian elegance and style, the two models thus return to the birthplace of the previous generations and confirm the continuity of an industrial and artisanal knowledge unique in the world. With this operation with a strong symbolic value, Maserati reaffirms both the company’s commitment to the Italian Motor Valley, and the desire to reaffirm that Modena is and will always be the heart of the Brand.
In the wake of this historic moment, the Trident Car House has created a rich calendar of celebratory events with the collaboration of Sonus faber as Main Partner from 5 to 9 November 2025. This partnership celebrates a common dedication to acoustic excellence, where sound art meets Maserati’s soul. The program brings together employees, customers, institutions and the entire city, and includes the world premiere of two spectacular One-Off models, along with an exclusive Fuoriserie customization package.
The whole is enclosed in the concept “Maserati Meccanica Lirica”, which sublimates the encounter between two pillars of Modena culture: the operatic music and the mechanics of Granturismo that since 1947 with the A6 1500 is produced in Modena. Different worlds, united by the same passion and attention to detail that gives shape to a language capable of transforming mechanical performance into an aesthetic and sensory experience.
Moreover, “Maserati Meccanica Lirica” is a creative platform that involved all the divisions of the company, combining the exclusivity of the product to a cultural and symbolic dimension that binds Maserati to Modena in the sign of the sound, where the voice of the engines makes music and the harmony between power and beauty becomes expression of the soul of the Trident.
In Modena the mechanics has a melody and the music has a character.
In Modena beats Maserati’s heart and Brand finds its voice.
“The return to the home of GranTurismo and GranCabrio is not only a tribute to our legendary history, but a strategic and identity choice that looks to the future with pride and determination, confirming the central role of Modena and the will of Maserati to continue investing in Italy, enhancing excellence, skills and vision. It is also a concrete sign of cohesion and membership, which renews the firmest intention to invest in this fantastic Brand,” says Jean-Philippe Learning, Maserati CEO.
“This land is the heart of our extraordinary Brand, the longest of the entire Italian Motor Valley, capable of bringing a unique vision of performance and design into the world. Celebrating the link between Modena and its territory with the return home of two iconic models represents an important investment, not only for Brand, but first for its people, showing the Marchio’s commitment to the local community and, at the same time, creating new growth opportunities,” said Santo Ficili, Maserati COO.
