TORINO (ITALPRESS) – On the occasion of the National Day of Trees, Suzuki renews its commitment to the environment and announces the fifth edition of Suzuki Green Friday promoting the growth of the “Suzuki Forest” together with the Green Sector of the City of Turin, the Torino Football Club and the network of its Concessionaries. With Suzuki Green Friday 2025, Suzuki will devolve 0.5% of the turnover generated on 28 November 2025 by the sales of the three divisions Auto, Moto and Marine including the spare parts/accessories sector.
The funds collected will be allocated to the planting of new trees in the city of Turin, in collaboration with the City Care Department, Public Green, parks and rivers at the head of the Tresso Francesco Assessore and with the Assessorato alle politica per l’ambiente e alla Transizione Ecologica a capo dell’Assessora Foglietta Chiara della Città di Torino and Torino FC. The goal is to give continuity to the environmental initiatives already started in the previous years, strengthening a path that sees Suzuki protagonist in urban forest projects, protection of the territory and awareness of the community.
Customers who will buy a car, a motorbike/scooter or an outboard engine on 28 November, as well as accessories, spare parts, services or merchandise – both at the Concessionary network and on e-commerce – will directly contribute to the project.
Thanks to the donation derived from Suzuki Green Friday, Suzuki, City of Turin and Torino FC will house new trees (the number will be defined according to the collected quota) by 31 March 2026 that will be placed: in via Filadelfia, near the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino; in via Filadelfia, near the Stadio Filadelfia; to the whole of the Cavalieri Park of Vittorio Veneto.
The activity will contribute to the growth of the “Suzuki Forest” on the territory. It is an additional part of a shared path that, over the years, has already led to the establishment of hundreds of trees and the creation of the “Bosco del Toro”, a project symbol of the collaboration between Suzuki and Torino FC.
On the occasion of the National Day of Trees, the commitment of the Suzuki network resulted in the establishment of 229 new trees: each Concessionary planted at least one tree in its own area. With this activity, the Suzuki Diffused Forest reaches 1.413 trees, contributing to the total reduction of 35,325 kg of CO2 per year.
