Inps, starting from Tor Vergata a cycle of meetings on social security education in University

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – This morning, at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, the new roadmap of INPS dedicated to the social security education of young people. A structured path, which directly connects the Institute with the academic world, to accompany the new generation in the heart of the choices that will determine their professional and social future. The initiative organized within the month of financial and social education is part of the awareness-raising and training activities aimed at young people on the issues of social security and financial education, with the aim of promoting greater awareness on occupational and social paths. The meeting with the students opened with the greetings of the Rector, Nathan Levialdi Ghiron, and of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Lucia Leonelli and saw the participation of the President of the INPS, Gabriele Fava, of the Central Director of Pensions, Vito La Monica, and of the head of the Central Direction Communication, Giacomo Grassi, who illustrated the Youth Project of the Institute.

“To help young people mature a conscious vision of their path is an institutional duty, as well as a strategic investment for the country,” said President Fava. “Today we start a new journey: We accompany young people within the rules of work, explaining to them that pension is not a distant theme, but the first brick of their autonomy. A better banker means a better pension. And awareness is built now, not tomorrow. ”

For Rector Levialdi Ghiron, “this day confirms the strength of universities when they collaborate with central institutions such as the INPS. We offer students indispensable knowledge tools to focus with clarity in the world of work that awaits them.”.

On the occasion of the Financial Education Month, the President Leonelli stressed: “The presence of INPS in our university is a concrete added value. Our students, thanks to the Youth Project, were able to better understand the rights, duties and opportunities of a constantly evolving social security system.” To close the meeting, Grassi recalled the mission of the project: “Young people are interested in security, but often perceive it as distant. Our task is to approach them with a clear, understandable, immediate language. The INPS must be an open house, especially for those who now face the world of work.”.

The start of the roadmap of meetings on culture and social education in Tor Vergata is a further step in the opening strategy of INPS towards new generations, strengthening a stable collaboration between the Institute and universities. A commitment that confirms the will of President Fava to build a welfare capable of speaking to young people, with the aim of making them protagonists aware of their professional and social future.
