BMW Italia at the first of La Scala 2025, twenty years of partnership

SAN DONATO MILANESE (MILANO) (ITALPRESS) – In conjunction with the opening of the 2025 season, next December 7, BMW Italia celebrates twenty years of collaboration with one of the most prestigious stages in the world: the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, a context of excellence that allows to tell shared values that guide both the theatre and the Car House of Monaco.

The opera that will inaugurate the 2025 season of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan proposes a dialogue between emotional depth and contemporaryity: a music that touches the mind of the viewer, accompanied by an incisive dramaturgy. A Lady Macbeth of the district of Mcensk, masterpiece of Dmitri ostakovic, directed by master Riccardo Chailly, explores the tension between desire, power and its inevitable consequences. The work, in the middle of the season, stands out for its emotional charge and for the musical interpretation that enhances the score in a contemporary key.

And it is precisely in this framework that BMW Italia renews its commitment: to support projects that enhance Italian culture in the world, to promote active and accessible participation, and to guide responsible and sustainable business practices, without ever subtracting space to artistic excellence, but integrating it with environmental and social sustainability.

“This partnership,” said Massimiliano Di Silvestre, Chairman and CEO of BMW Italia, “has grown and renewed in tradition and innovation. On the one hand, the unparalleled artistic legacy of the Theatre; on the other, BMW’s commitment to leading the transformation of premium mobility. And on the occasion of the first of next December 7, as BMW Italia we will start with a special communication campaign on Milan of the first car of the new generation Neue Klasse, which means a paradigm change in terms of design, experience on board, digitization, technology and electrification: the New BMW iX3′′′′′. “We are proud,” said Di Silvestre, “to be alongside La Scala, a symbol of Italian identity, and to help make possible the dialogue between art and innovation in order to continue to excite the public of the whole world”.

The relationship between BMW Italia and La Scala, launched in 2002, is based on the idea of placing man at the centre, woven artistic languages and technological tools to enhance cultural experience. Since 2016, BMW Italia has been a founder member of the theatre. Over the years the partnership has supported operatic and symphonic seasons, special projects and initiatives for dialogue between public, music and innovation.

La Scala emerges as a global platform to tell values such as leadership, passion and attention to detail, elements that intertwine with the sustainability strategy and the branding and social responsibility of BMW in Italy.

The twenty-year partnership with the First of December 7 becomes a platform to reflect on how industry, culture and communities can grow together. BMW Italia will continue to support projects that enhance Italian culture in the world, promoting accessible and meaningful participation and strengthening its commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices.
