In Marrakech the final evening of the Week of Italian cuisine in the world

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Italian restaurant Sesamo del Royal Mansour in Marrakech has ended the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World organized by the Italian Embassy in Morocco. The final appointment was dedicated to Neapolitan cuisine, also in homage to the 2500 years of the city of Naples. The evening included Massimiliano and Raffaele Alajmo, a reference figure of contemporary Italian gastronomy, together with Franco Santasilia di Torpino, who proposed an insight into the Neapolitan aristocratic cuisine, illustrating the cultural value and the most representative recipes.

The Week of Italian Cuisine has crossed several cities of the Kingdom – Rabat, Casablanca, Tangier and Marrakech – with training activities, masterclasses and meetings dedicated to the diffusion of Italian gastronomic culture. Particular attention has been paid to the dialogue with Moroccan chefs and professionals and the themes of health, sustainability and food innovation. The Embassy highlights how the initiative has “strengthened the cultural link between Italy and Morocco, enhancing the Mediterranean proximity and the role of cuisine as an instrument of relationship”.
