ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In recent times there is a phenomenon that is worrying public opinion and politics. On several occasions the media, with articles, reports and data, launched an alarm of an increase in the spread of knives among minors and an increase in aggression by the so-called “baby gang”. A phenomenon that is perceived as real and represents a serious emergency for cities for almost 2 Italians out of 3, according to a survey of Only Numbers.
A generalized perception also politically and without particular positions, although slightly less felt among the voters of the opposition parties. Overall, therefore, almost all of the Italian population calls for greater control over the sale of knives and their spread among children, also considering the ease with which these weapons can be found.
Also in this case, the demand for greater attention is unanimous and sees both voters of majority parties and those of opposition parties. This confirms the importance and concern for a phenomenon that is perceived as constantly growing and involving the new generations. The Only Numbers survey for Realpolitik was carried out on 24-25/11/2025 with CAWI methodology on a sample of 800 representative cases of the Italian majority population.
