ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Gian Luca Artizzu, managing director of Sogin, and Errico Stravato, managing director of Sogesid, have signed a framework agreement that strengthens the collaboration between the two companies, to face with greater speed and effectiveness the challenges of the reclamation, rehabilitation and environmental restoration. The partnership combines the expertise of Sogin, the public company specializing in nuclear decommissioning and in the management of radioactive waste and Sogesid, the state engineering company, specialized in reclamation contaminated areas, water resource management and environmental infrastructure in international cooperation.
The new agreement provides for actions to participate together with national and international initiatives, which require advanced technical skills, increasing the competitiveness of applications and the ability to intervene on complex projects. The possibility of direct use of technical-specialist services is also envisaged, ensuring rapid operation and efficiency in the execution of the interventions. With this understanding Sogin and Sogesid strengthen their shared commitment to promote the Italian presence in international reclamation interventions.
