ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Olympic flame of Milan-Cortina 2026 landed in Fiumicino after the flight departed from Athens, where it was delivered to the Italian delegation. To accompany the torch the president of the Fondazione Milano-Cortina, Giovanni Malagò, the number 1 of the Coni, Luciano Buonfiglio and tennis player Jasmine Paolini, tedofora at the stadium Panathinaiko.

The flame is now awaited at the Quirinale, at the Vetrata del Cortile d’onore, where it will be welcomed by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.

This was said by tennis player Jasmine Paolini, a tedophora at the Panathinaiko Stadium in Athens, immediately after landing in Fiumicino with the Olympic flame of Milan-Cortina. “It’s an incredible feeling, I feel honored, it’s a great emotion and I’m enjoying this day,” added tennis.
