TEL AVIV (ISRAELE) (ITALPRESS) – US President Donald Trump’s administration aims to announce the transition to the second phase of the Gaza peace plan in about two weeks. An American official at the Times of Israel said this, confirming an indiscretion published by Channel 12 yesterday. The second phase of the American plan for the Strip concerns the establishment of governance and security mechanisms that will be responsible for the administration of post-war Gaza instead of Hamas, and Trump will reveal the individuals and countries involved in such mechanisms within his announcement, declared an American official. The source has clarified that the administration is still conducting final discussions with potential participants and, although wishing to announce the transition to the second stage by the end of the year, the process may not be completed by that date.
