FIRENZE (ITALPRESS) – An explosion occurred at the dawn of today caused the death of a man aged 71 in his home in Via Garibaldi, in Barberino di Mugello, in the province of Florence. After a boat the flames that wrapped the apartment on the first floor were raised. The Firefighters and Health Care Officers of 118 intervened on the spot, but when rescuers managed to enter the house for man there was nothing left to do.
The Firefighters have tamed the flames and started the checks on the stability of the structure, extending the controls also to the surrounding buildings, consisting of condominiums and terraces. There are no other people involved. The Carabinieri started the investigation to clarify the causes of the explosion and reconstruct the exact dynamics of the incident.
