NEW YORK (USA) (ITALPRESS) – Orlando and New York are the first two semi-finalist teams of the Nba Cup. The Magics and Knicks, in fact, exceeded the quarters of the East part of the billboard and will face in the night between Saturday and Sunday in the Final Four that will be held in Las Vegas.
Yet, for Orlando the fourth final against the Miami Heat had not begun to the best, since it was the guests to immediately place a partial from 0-15. But, dragged by a great Desmond Bane, which will close the evening with 37 points to the active, the Magic recovers ground already in the second quarter, before making the overtaking in the second half, until the 117-108 final. Also important are the 20 points of Jalen Suggs and the 18 of Paolo Banchero, in addition to the double from 14 points and 10 rebounds of Wendell Carter Jr., while in Miami were not enough Norman Powell (21 points) and Tyler Herro (20). The Heat, in fact, paid in general the low percentages to the three shot (just 8/33) to which he contributed, in negative, also Simone Fontecchio, for the first time in dry season of points (0/5 from the field, of which three attempts from the arc).
As for the second game, New York scored a second quarter of 13-34 to beat the Toronto Raptors for 101-117. The negative period of the Raptors continues: the 31 points of Brandon Ingram, in fact, are not enough to avoid the sixth defeat in the last seven games.
The semi-finals will end this night with the West side matches where Oklahoma City Thunder will challenge the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers if they see it against the San Antonio Spurs.
