LATINA (ITALPRESS) – At Terracina, San Felice Circeo, Naples and Rome, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Latina, at the disposal of the District Direction Antimafia of Rome, have carried out an order of cautious custody against 5 seriously suspected people, in various ways, of political exchange, extortion aggravated by the mafia method, fraudulent transfer. The measure was issued by the gip at the Court of Rome. The operation was carried out in collaboration with the commands of the territorially competent State and with the Group Aeromobili Carabinieri di Practice di Mare, intervened with a helicopter. The investigation, conducted from June 2022 to October 2023, and coordinated by the Anti-Mafia District Direction of Rome, originates from the info-investigative activity developed by the Carabinieri on the territory that has allowed to learn about the inclusion in the economic-entrepreneurship, political and social fabric of the city of Terracina of an important family included, also by blood constraints, in the famous Clan Liccardi of Naples. At the centre of the investigations a public official of Terracina, who would have asked and obtained from an exponent belonging to the Camorristic clan of the Licciardi, included in the wider and well-known Secondigliano Alliance, a support for the administrative elections held in May 2023 in Terracina. The two investigated, with violence and threats, would have forced a victim to pay an imprecisate sum of money in relation to a previous usury loan.
Moreover, an entrepreneur of the place, in relation to the exponent of the Camorristic clan, he would have phytically interred to third parties several properties, company quotas and commercial activities located in Naples, Terracina, San Felice Circeo and in Rome in order to evade an eventual measure of patrimonial prevention at his expense. The investigators seized seven commercial premises (an entire commercial gallery), a B&B, twenty real estate units and three lands for a total value of over 11 million euros. At the same time, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Latina are proceeding to notify of a guarantee information against 11 inquiries, which must respond to various reasons for fraudulent transfer of values, self-reclamation, fraudulent subtraction of tax credits, corruption and troubled freedom of the incumbents. Their position is at the expense of the judicial authority, following a massacre carried out in the criminal proceedings for which the District Attorney Antimafia of Rome ordered the current execution of precautions on the territory of Terracina.
