TORINO (ITALPRESS) – As the Official Partner of the Trip of the Olympic Flame, Stellantis’ Italian brands will accompany this route through Italy. La Fiamma Olimpica, started from Rome on December 6, will cross over 300 Italian municipalities on a journey that represents one of the most iconic and evocative moments towards the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of Milan Cortina 2026, bringing with it a message of unity, inclusion and sharing of the Olympic values.
The initiative is a moment of great value for the Group, which has chosen to actively involve its people in a unique experience, capable of combining manufacturing excellence and Olympic values. The Olympic Flame will take place in the next few weeks in four Italian factories in Stellantis, places symbol of manufacturing excellence in the country and an integral part of a story that combines industry, people and territories. The first plant involved will be Pomigliano d’Arco, on December 27, where Alfa Romeo Tonale will accompany the passage of the Flame as an expression of sportiness, passion and advanced technology, values that the brand will also interpret during the Games through a dedicated presence and a fleet of cars designed to support athletes, staff and organization. On December 28, the journey will reach Melfi, on a day that will see Lancia representing elegance, vision and Italian identity.
After the year-end break, on January 8 the journey will continue in Modena, the heart of Maserati, where the passage of the Flame will underline the role of the Marchio del Tridente in the most iconic and institutional moments of the Games, interpreting the values of tradition, competition and prestige through performance, luxury and technological excellence. On January 11, the final stage of the journey within the Stellantis world will take place in Turin, in the Mirafiori plant, with FIAT protagonist through its vocation to accessible and sustainable mobility. The passage of the Olimpic Flame inside the factories is a time of great importance for Stellantis, offering a direct involvement of employees and their families to strengthen their sense of belonging. In each plant a selection of Stellantis employees will run with the Flame along the most iconic places of each structure involved. The day will be marked by moments of animation dedicated to all the people present, involving the managers of the individual brands, Olympic athletes who will participate in the competition and legends of sport that have been protagonists of the previous editions of the Games. Among others, Stefania Belmondo, Andrea Macrì and Jacopo Luchini. It will also be the opportunity to meet the official mascots of Milan Cortina 2026 the two hermets Milo and Tina.
The Italian brands of Stellantis – Alfa Romeo, FIAT, Lancia and Maserati – are Official Partner of the Journey of the Olympic Flame of Milan Cortina 2026, accompanying with a fleet of vehicles a story that crosses Italy together with the most universal symbol of the Games It is 30 vehicles that guide and support the path of the Olympic Flame composed of FIAT Professional Ulysse, Ulysse VIP and Ducato in set up minibus from 9 places and Alfa Romeo, Stelvio, Tonale and Junior. Vehicles that are crossing cities, villages, plains and mountains, adapting to different territories and contexts, to ensure that the Olympic fire never stops. On this journey, the fleet is not only a logistic support, but an extension of the Olympic message itself: a continuous movement that unites people and places, bringing the values of passion, excellence and inclusion also far from the official venues of the Games, and transforming each kilometer path into part of the history of Milan Cortina 2026.
As part of the journey through Italy the national brands will support with various entertainment initiatives also the city celebrations, moments of celebration in the main Italian squares to involve not only the employees of the Group, but also the individual communities of the places crossed by the Olympic Flame. The first participation will be on December 23 in Naples, to which will follow in January Turin 11, Padua 21 and Trieste 23. This journey is part of a reconnection program with the territory and its people aimed at enhancing the unique heritage of the Group’s Italian brands, which today serve sports and its values: inclusion, determination, respect, sustainability. These are the values that we share deeply with the Olympic movement and that guide today the strategic choices of the Company.
As the Automotive Premium Partner of Milan Cortina 2026, the Italian brands of Stellantis will make available to Milan Cortina 2026 approximately 3,000 vehicles – more than half electrified – to support athletes, volunteers, staff and federations, that will cross the vast territories of these Games spread aboard Alfa Romeo, FIAT, Fiat Professional, Abarth, Lancia and Maserati. The brands will be protagonists of the Olympics and Paralympics with the association to specific sports disciplines and athletes and some of them will also make special series with the celebratory badges of the Games.
