Crédit Agricole, the European Central Bank gives the green light to the 20% threshold of Banco BPM

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The European Central Bank has notified its approval to the threshold of 20% of the share capital of Banco BPM by Crédit Agricole. Crédit Agricole will hold 20.1% of the capital of Banco BPM. “As previously stated – we read in a note -, Crédit Agricole S.A. does not intend to acquire or exercise control over Banco BPM and will maintain its participation below the threshold of the public offer of compulsory purchase”.
