WASHINGTON (USA) (ITALPRESS) – “Continue to protest and defend your rights, our help is coming.” American president Donald Trump, speaking from the Detroit Economic Club stage, sent a message to Iranian protesters, criticizing the authorities of the country. Trump invited Iranian citizens to save the names of those who are killing or abusing them, underlining that every responsibility will be punished, and announced the suspension of all meetings with Iranian officials until they cease violence. The President then recalled his electoral victory: “In the past they have always presented me saying that I had not won the popular vote, but this time we have won with wide margin in almost all counties of America, 2702 vs 525. This is a historical mandate to make America great again, and we are working to achieve it.” Trump also attacked the previous administration, claiming that under Biden the United States had recorded “very low growth and record inflation”, while its management would quickly reverse the situation, with the highest ever recorded growth and almost canceled inflation.
The president then praised the economic success of his government, citing record investments and employment growth: “In less than a year I have secured commitments for over 18 trillion dollars from all over the world, the most ever recorded for any country. We went from the worst numbers ever recorded to the strongest and best in recent history. Our economy grows faster than any other great economy on Earth.” Trump also spoke of energy and Venezuela: “We are bringing production back from Venezuela and this is great for our country. The world’s largest ships carry a million barrels that will be refined here. We’re further dropping oil prices, and service stations in the Detroit area offer fuel less than $2.30 per gallon, compared to 4.50 two years ago.”.
Addressing the audience of the Detroit Economic Club, Trump cited the results of his industrial and commercial policy: “The factories that were closed now work 24 hours a day. Ford, the crown of the Detroit automotive industry, has been thriving for more than 100 years and now produces no rest. And all this was also possible thanks to the historical duties that have strengthened the country and made America richer and safer”. The President also underlined the increased inscriptions in the armed forces and the strengthening of the public sector: “A year and a half ago we had the worst enlistment rate in history. Now we have the strongest ever recorded. The same applies to police, firefighters and other essential sectors. All this thanks to the merit and a solid economic policy. ”
Trump has criticized the tax policies of the past and the use of taxes as an unproductive tool, recalling its tax reduction measures and the return of duties: “The duties are making money to Michigan and the whole country. Every critical prediction has been denied. American consumers do not pay their duties: they pay foreign nations. The people of Michigan chose correctly.” On the energy level, Trump reiterated his policy on fuel prices and the automotive sector: “Service stations have very low prices, almost half compared to two years ago, and our support for car workers is unprecedented. We have imposed a 25% duty on all foreign cars, protecting American industry and workers.” Trump then talked about foreign policy and stability in the Middle East: “We put an end to eight wars and without our trade agreements and duties would not have been possible. We brought hundreds of billion dollars to the United States and stabilized the region. Without our intervention, the situation would have been completely different.” Finally, Trump faced the trend of the Stock Exchange and financial markets: “Every quarter we see incredible numbers: the market rises, the pension accounts of the Americans grow and the economy continues to expand. We have created conditions for unlimited growth if we return to economic logic. The United States is respected as never before and productivity and investments are exploding. ”
