“There is no political problem with the League on this point,” Meloni replied to a question about the League that yesterday accused Europe of “warfariism” about the announcement of Donald Trump on new duties for the countries that defend Greenland.

I’m working to try to lower the tension and return to dialogue,” he added.
The will of some European countries to send troops to Greenland is read with the aim of “to participate in greater security, not in the sense of an initiative made towards the United States, but if anything towards other actors. It seems to me that on this there has been a problem of understanding and communication, for what concerns me continue to insist on the role of NATO – added the Premier – NATO is the place where we must try to organize together tools of deterrence towards ingestions that can be hostile in a territory that is clearly strategic – Meloni added – and I believe that the fact that NATO began to work on this is a good initiative.
