ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The number of deaths in Iran for protests rises. An official blames “terrorists and armed riots for the killing of innocent Iranians”, adding that “Israel and armed groups abroad have supported” those who went down to the square.
For Tehran at least 5,000 killed, including 500 security forces. The official refers to heavy clashes, with a high number of deaths in Kurdish areas, which would be recorded in northern Iran.
According to a new report, obtained from the Sunday Times, which cites medical witnesses and sources, in the brutal and bloody repression of protests in Iran, at least 16,500 people were killed while about 330 thousand were wounded. Most of the victims are believed to be under 30 years.
