ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Strengthening the spatial planning of sport as a leverage of well-being, inclusion, social cohesion and sustainable development, supporting local authorities through facilitated credit tools and specialist consulting services. This is the objective of the Memorandum of Understanding renewed by the AAD of the Institute for Sports and Cultural Credit (ICSC), Antonella Baldino, and the President of ACES Europe – Italy Delegation, Vincenzo Lupattelli.
The renewal of the three-year agreement is part of a framework of shared values that recognise sport as a fundamental right, educational and cultural leverage and a strategic tool for the sustainable growth of local communities.
A collaboration that, over time, has generated important synergies in support of the development of sport in the Italian territories engaged in obtaining the titles issued by ACES: Capital, Region, City, Municipality, Island and European Community of Sport.
ACES Europe assigns, in fact, every year sports awards at European level to Capitals, Regions, Municipalities, Cities and Islands, accompanying the programming of interventions that favor physical activity as a universal right.
The signing of the agreement will allow to consolidate the strategic relations between ICSC and ACES and, through the latter, with the Local Authorities, allowing ICSC to quickly intercept specific needs in the matter of requalification, regeneration or realization of sports spaces, thanks to a direct channel with the main territorial interlocutors.
